At our 5 Star Periodontist offers non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatment. All
Periodontal referrals are accepted, including for those with poor oral hygiene and we
can do the six-point pocket charting ourselves. The kinds of situations which dentists
most commonly refer to us include:
•
Aggressive or severe chronic periodontitis, with pockets of >6 mm (BPE 4)
•
Acute problems (e.g. desquamative gingivitis, necrotising periodontal disease)
•
Drug induced gingival conditions
•
Localised gingival swellings (e.g. epulis)
•
Localised root exposure and gingival recession
•
Crown lengthening
•
Regeneration procedures to replace the missing support of the periodontally
compromised teeth
The first step is to have a consultation with our Periodontist:
•
Consultation fee of £50 or Free should treatment go ahead. The consultation
can take place with treatment during the same visit in urgent cases.
•
Treatment costs are £250 for non-surgical Periodontal Therapy per quadrant
