Root Canal Therapy (Endodontics) is a complex, fiddly, time-consuming and
demanding field with a high rate of malpractice claims for the average dentist. So, it
makes sense to refer to one of our Level 3 specialist or Level 2 Endodontists who
have the advanced knowledge, skills and equipment necessary to complete
complicated treatments successfully. All root canal treatment at our practice is
carried out with the aid of magnification via a surgical microscope. Examples of the
types of cases we can treat are:
•
Root canal treatment on any tooth
•
Root canal re-treatment
•
Periradicular surgery
•
Other endodontic management (vital pulp therapy, complex sequelae of
trauma, resorption, dental anomalies)
NHS Level 2 care is available but only through the Pan London pathway in which
specific complexity criteria must be met.
The first step is to have a consultation with our Endodontist:
•
Consultation fee of £85 or Free should treatment go ahead. The consultation
can take place with treatment during the same visit in urgent cases.
•
Treatment costs are typically £600-£850.
